Lauren Courtney Lebo and John Walker Brooks, both of McCarley, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sammy and Angie Brasher of Grenada.
The prospective bride-groom is the son of Michie Linn Hooks of McCarley.
He is the grandson of the late Leta Beth Brownlow of Carrollton.
Miss Lebo is a 2004 graduate of Grenada High School.
She is a graduate of Holmes Community College, where she received a degree in nursing.
She is employed as a nurse at Grace Health & Rehab of Grenada.
Mr. Brooks is employed at Helena Chemical Company.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. on May 31 at Seldom Seen in McCarley.
