Rosemary Robinson and Sonny Carey, both of Greenwood, announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Angela M. Lawrence of Greenwood, to Anthony D. Burrough of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Millie Burrough of Memphis and the late James Smith.
He is the grandson of Daisy Mae Burrough, the late Raymond Burrough and Alma Smith.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late May B. Holt, the late Lucious Robinson and the late Viola and Paul Carey.
Miss Lawrence is a 2002 graduate of Greenwood High School. She attends Ashford University, where she is working toward a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Mr. Burrough attended Greenwood High School.
He is employed by Miller Insulation Service.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. July 30, 2010, at the Leflore County Civic Center. A reception will follow the ceremony at the civic center.
