Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Fallot Lamb of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Louise McGinnis Lamb, to Michael Murry Adams Jr. of Greenwood.
The prospective bride-groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Murry Adams, Sr. of Greenwood. He is the grandson of Mary Lou Wittenberg Adams and the late Dr. Lorenzo Holcomb Adams, and Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Stout, all of Memphis, Tennessee.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Franklin Lamb of Daphne, Alabama, and Nevis Quarin Guy of Ridgeland and the late Aubrey Earl Guy Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee.
Miss Lamb is a 2009 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She graduated in 2013 from Mississippi State University, with a bachelor’s degree in educational psychology. Miss Lamb is a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, Reformed University Fellowship and Road Runners. She works as an intern with Reformed University Fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Mr. Adams is a 2009 graduate of Pillow Academy in Greenwood. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. He is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and Alumni Delegates. Adams is a first-year medical student at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia.
The couple will exchange vows July 11, in an evening service at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Jackson. A reception will follow at Old Capitol Inn.
