Willie Sanders of Greenwood and Sarah P. Sanders of Desoto, Texas, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Dr. Sharone Sanders Lacy, to Antonio Harris of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Doris Harris of Greenwood and the late Willie James Harris Jr.
He is the grandson of the late Willie James Harris Sr., the late Pearl Harris, the late Louis Williams Sr. and the late Hattie Williams.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Percy Phillips, the late Clemmie Gatewood Phillips Doyle, the late Lazell Sanders and the late Helen Sanders.
The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. June 15 at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in Carrollton. The Rev. Robert Cartlidge will officiate. A reception will follow at the Leflore County Civic Center.
