Leroy and Mary Jordan have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Tihesha Q. Jordan of Aurora, Ill., to Christopher A. Smith of Greenwood.
Mr. Smith is the son of Bobbie Jean Smith and M.C. Williams, both of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of West Aurora High School. She graduated from Delta State University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in biology.
She currently is working toward a master's degree at Delta State University and is a member of the United States Army National Guard.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Greenwood High School. He graduated from Mississippi Valley State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in biology.
He is employed with the Greenwood Fire Department.
The couple will exchange vows at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20, 2008, at New Green Grove Church of Faith in Greenwood.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited.
