Shawn and Gwen Hughes of Coffeeville announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Taylor Hughes, to Trevor Skelton of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Angie Hatten of Southaven and Trampas Skelton of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Robert Skelton Sr. and Peggy and Earl Hobson and Eddie Hammons, all of Greenwood, and John and Ruth Rice of Vaiden.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Claude Hughes and Tammy Hughes of Coffeeville, LouAnn Manscoe of Grenada, Cheryl Allen of Coffeeville and the late Wallace Allen and the late Ricky Carpenter.
Miss Hughes is a student at the University of Mississippi.
Mr. Skelton is a graduate of Mississippi State University. The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. on July 19 in Coffeeville.
