Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Alexander Homolik of Greenwood have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Ann Holder Homolik of Greenwood, to Jordan Michael Bartlett, also of Greenwood.
Mr. Bartlett is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. David Michael Bartlett of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Raymond Knaack of Tomah, Wis., and Sheila Friend Bartlett of Gurnee, Ill., and the late John Michael Bartlett of Syracuse, N.Y.
Miss Homolik is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Russell Cohron Sr. of Greenwood and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Alexander Homolik of Winona.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Pillow Academy. She received bachelor's degrees in psychology and art from the University of Mississippi. She is currently in her second year of the University of Mississippi's graduate program in community counseling. She is scheduled to receive her master's degree in 2009, at which time she will pursue a career as a licensed professional counselor, specializing in art therapy.
While at the University of Mississippi, she has been a member of Chi Omega Sorority, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Psi Chi Honor Society for psychology majors, Student Art Association and Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society for graduate students in counseling.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Pillow Academy. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Mississippi. While attending the University of Mississippi, he was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
He is employed with the accounting firm of Orsborn, Sutphen and O'Neal PA in Greenwood.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. Aug. 2, 2008, at North Greenwood Baptist Church.
The Rev. David Bartlett and Dr. Jim Phillips will officiate.
