Stephen Michael Adams and Rachel Alisa Hodge, both of Greenwood, have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Mr. Adams is the son of William and Sharon Adams of French Camp.
Miss Hodge is the daughter of Dr. Rheba Vetter and Kim Morris of Maryville, Mo., and Dr. James Hodge and Lori Jo Klemptner of Henderson, Nev.
She is the granddaughter of Reba Vetter of Alexandria, Va., and the late Rudolph Vetter, Jack Hodge of Murray, Utah, and the late Janet Hodge, Richard Morris of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Ed and Dorothy Klemptner of Morton Grove, Ill.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of West High School in Salt Lake City. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi.
She is employed as the lifestyles editor at the Greenwood Commonwealth.
The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of French Camp Academy. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi.
He is employed as a math teacher at North New Summit School in Greenwood.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. July 17, 2009, at Alta Lodge in Salt Lake City.
The Rev. Jeffrey Louden and William Adams will officiate.
