Mr. and Mrs. James Edwin Hitt of Madison announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Martha Marie Hitt of Ridgeland, to Mr. James Matthew Kelly of Jackson.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Wayne Kelly of Itta Bena.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Howard Green and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rex O. Kelly.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mis. Edwin Austin Hitt of Laurel and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Smith Hubbard.
Miss Hitt is a 2003 graduate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Ridgeland and a 2007 graduate of the University of Mississippi Honors College.
She is employed by St. Andrew’s Episcopal School.
Mr. Kelly is a 2002 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2006 graduate of the University of Mississippi.
He is employed by Allen Financial Group.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. July 24, 2010, at Northminister Baptist Church in Jackson. The Rev. Charles E. Poole will officiate.
