On Sept. 19, 2009, family and friends gathered for the marriage celebration of Randi Rae Henderson and Adam Antoine Gnemi at the Lighthouse Point Beach in Pensacola, Fla.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Clay Henderson of Greenwood.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Antoine Gnemi of Greenwood.
The oceanfront unity sand ceremony took place as the sun set over the water.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Randy Clay Henderson, and was escorted down a bridal pathway lined with palms.
She wore a mermaid-style strapless gown of champagne satin. It was embellished with coffee-colored beads and lace appliqués by LaBelle.
Her jewelry was a pearl bracelet and necklace given to her by her mother. She also wore an antique ring belonging to her maternal grandmother.
She carried a hand-tied bouquet of hydrangeas, gerber daisies, roses and freesia.
Rosemary Dickard served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Karlee Ellis, Kelly Horne, Jennifer Kaye Crenshaw, Margaret McClure and Maribeth Phillips.
They wore iridescent apple taffeta tea-length gowns with spaghetti straps and were tied at the waist with an espresso sash.
Ann Carol Gnemi, niece of the groom, served as flower girl. She wore a coordinating apple dress with a monogrammed collar and carried a pomander of yellow daisies.
Lawrence Antoine Gnemi, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Matt Gnemi, Will Gnemi, Bobby Henderson, Tyler Chamblee and Carter Gammill.
Matthew Knight Gnemi Jr. and Evan Crenshaw served as ring bearers.
After a romantic stroll on the beach, the couple entered the Lighthouse Beach Club to a candlelit reception overlooking the water.
The bride’s table was adorned in a champagne monogrammed satin runner, which held a three-tiered square red velvet cake with cream cheese icing embellished with a polka dot and lace design. The cake was topped and accented with fresh flowers.
The grooms chocolate cake was a John Deere tractor designed with traditional John Deere colors. It was surrounded by a pyramid of John Deere colored cup cakes.
A Christmas honeymoon at Walt Disney World is planned.
The couple is at home in Greenwood.
