Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lane Fitzgerald of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton McKee Guenther of Greenwood have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Eleanor Hardy Guenther of Greenwood, to Michael Justin Braswell of Lexington.
Mr. Braswell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Derwood Braswell of Lexington.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Bryan Jones of Yazoo City and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Anderson Braswell of Greenwood.
Miss Guenther is the granddaughter of Ruben Hardy Nunnery of McComb and the late Lavern Wells Nunnery, the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Curtis Guenther of Morgan City and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Coleman McEachern of Vaiden.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Pillow Academy. She attended the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, and graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in communication.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Cruger Tchula Academy. He attended Mississippi Delta Community College and Mississippi State University, where he served as president of Block and Bridle.
He is currently continuing his education in business administration at Delta State University.
The couple will exchange vows at 11 a.m. June 14, 2008, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greenwood.
The Rev. Robert Douglas Thacker of Indianola will officiate.
