David and Susan Floyd of Itta Bena announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kacey Hope Floyd, to James Tyler Reeser of Philipp.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Stan and Margaret Mulvihill of Greenwood and James Reeser of West Memphis, Ark.
He is the grandson of Thomas and Sandra Dunn of Greenwood and Ruth Reeser of West Memphis, Ark., and the late Ray Reeser and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Mulvihill. He is the great-grandson of Margie Mims of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gene and Gloria Everett of Greenwood and Larry and Judy Floyd of Vaiden. She is the great-granddaughter of Myrtis Floyd of Winona.
Miss Floyd is a 2008 graduate of Deer Creek School. She is a senior at Delta State University, where she is a member of the Delta Scholars.
She will graduate from Delta State in December, receiving a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science with an emphasis on child development and an endorsement in special education.
She is employed through the Mississippi Community Education Center, where she works as a forensic interviewer for the Child Advocacy Center in Greenwood.
Mr. Reeser is a 2009 graduate of Pillow Academy and attended Mississippi Delta Community College.
He is employed by Helena Chemical Company of Greenwood.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. on June 14 at Wister Gardens in Belzoni.
The Rev. Duane Jensen will officiate.
A reception will follow at Wister Gardens.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited.
