Jessie Mae Floyd and James Cannon of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Vicky Nicole Floyd, to Demetrius Tramell Gray of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jerry Williams of Decatur, Ga., and the late Linda Gray.
He is the grandson of Clara Williams of Greenwood and the late Edna Gray and the late Willie Gray.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Dell Allison of Greenwood and the late Jr. Anderson and the late Tallie Mae Jackson and the late Henry Hansbrough.
Miss Floyd is a 2004 graduate of Amanda Elzy High School and a 2010 graduate of Mississippi Valley State University, where she received a degree in social work.
She is employed at O’Reilly Auto Parts.
Mr. Gray is a 1995 graduate of Amanda Elzy High School.
He is employed at McDonald’s.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Leflore County Civic Center.
The Rev. J.H. Brown will officiate.
A reception will follow at the Civic Center.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend.
