Mr. and Mrs. William James Brewster and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur A. Floyd, all of McCarley, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jamie Leigh Floyd, to Ethan James Dugar of Wichita, Kan.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James G. Dugar Jr. of Mandevile, La.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James G Dugar Sr. of Kentwood, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald J. Ponthieux Sr. of Folsom, La.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William James Brewster and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur A. Floyd, all of McCarley.
Miss Floyd is a 2012 graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in cognitive psychology.
She is employed at PCG Public Partnerships in Health and Special Needs Care. She is a volunteer for Blue Meadows Equestrian Center, where she gives riding lessons to children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Mr. Dugar is a 2012 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering. He is working on a master’s degree in aerospace engineering at Wichita State University. He is employed at Spirit Aerosystems as a design engineer.
The couple will exchange vows on Nov. 23 at the Chapel of Memories at Mississippi State University.
