Becky Sipes Flemister and Doug Flemister, both of Monticello, Arkansas, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amy Brianne Flemister, to Thomas Edward Lafever III, also of Monticello.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Michelle and Eddie Lafever of Monticello. He is the grandson of Linda and Bobby Poe of Greenwood; Shirley Lafever of Michie, Tennessee, and the late Tommy Lafever; and the late Jean Lafever.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Louise Sipes and the late Travis Sipes and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Jack Flemister, all of Monticello.
Miss Flemister is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education. She is employed as a seventh-grade teacher at Monticello Middle School.
Mr. Lafever is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello, having earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is employed as the finance director for the city of Monticello.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Green Hill Community Baptist Church. All family and friends are invited to attend the ceremony and the reception.
