Crystal Lee Fleming and Charles Stribling Odom were united in marriage at 7 p.m. June 26, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Greenwood.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ray Hemphill of Greenwood and Mr. Hays Edward Fleming.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rayford L. Roberts of Greenwood, Dorothy Hemphill of Winona, and the late Betty Lou Fleming.
The groom is the son of Susan Clements Chick of Memphis and Clifton Ellzey Odom of Jackson, Tenn.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Flautt of Greenwood and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Odom Sr. and the late Henry Ganes Clements of Greenwood.
The candle-light ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Luke Riley of Azle, Texas, the bride's youth minister.
The Scripture was read by the groom's sister, Amanda Beckwith.
The bride's proxy was Carmon Clark of Itta Bena. Guestbook attendants were Carrie Webster and Mary-Hooper Mason.
Mary Jo Givens, a lifelong friend of the bride, served as the wedding director.
Nuptial music was provided by Ceal Pate of Greenwood. Kim DeLoach and Taylor DeLoach, friends of the bride, sang a vocal arrangement of "Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us."
The flowers in the sanctuary were placed in loving memory of the bride and groom's grandparents.
Following the chiming of the hour, the bride was given in marriage by her father and her stepfather.
The bride entered the church to the bridal march played on the harmonica by her uncle, Dudley Pleasants. She wore an elegant strapless diamond white corset back gown of ivory silk with flattering asymmetrical draping over the form-fitting bodice. Embellished with Swarowski crystals in the front and back, the dropped waistline was caught with a crystal brooch just below the hip, which fell into a chapel-length train, closed in the entire back with covered buttons.
She wore her mother's vail, which served as the bride's something borrowed. She carried a cascade bouquet of white calalillies with Italian Ruscus foliage. Nestled inside her bouquet was a picture of the bride and her stepmother, the late Cathy Shute Fleming, which was her something old. She wore a double-strand pearl and diamond bracelet , a gift from her mother and a diamond tear drop necklace given by the groom - her something new. Also complementing her dress, she wore antique pearl and diamond earrings. The bride had the pocket of her uncle's infant shirt, the late Lee Roberts, sewn into the hem of her dress, which served as her something blue.
Attending her sister as maid of honor was Jessica Morgan Hemphill. Matron of honor was Mary Parker Flanagan Tribble.
Bridesmaids were Sara Grace Hemphill and Mary-Holly Fleming, both sisters of the bride; Casie Burt Thompson; Millie Powers; Melanie Wilson; Leigh Ables; and Laurin Clark.
Each attendant wore a black tea-length dress made of three different styles.
The maid of honor and matron of honor carried three long-stemmed, white calilillies. The bridesmaids each carried a single long-stemmed white calilillie.
The bridesmaids each wore a single pearl drop necklace given by the bride.
Clifton Ellzey Odom, served as his son's best man.
Groomsmen were Andrew Odom and Clements Odom, both brothers of the groom. Other groomsmen were Ray Ratliff, Bill Saunders, Will Freeman, Matt Hodges, Scott Blaylock and Bubba McCabe.
Ushers were Hays Fleming, brother of the bride; Spence Tribble; Jerry Dale Blackburn; Shawn Willoughby; Andy Gore; and Andrew Williams.
Serving as program attendants were Callie Pittman Collins and Anna Miller Makamson.
Following the ceremony, a Hummer limousine was waiting on the wedding party to transfer them to the Greenwood Garden Club, where the reception was held.
The guests danced the night away to live music by Curb Service. The highlight of the evening was a surprise visit by Elvis, the bride's all-time favorite singer.
The bride's four-tiered cake consisted of strawberry-filled layers with ivory butter cream icing. Each layer of the cake was accented with a black satin ribbon. The bride's new initial adorned the top of the cake.
The groom's table featured a chocolate cake that was a replica of a Carocele named "Seabisquit," a longtime mascot of the groom.
A colorful table arranged with the bride and groom's favorite candies provided the favors for the guests.
The couple departed the reception under a cascade of sparklers held by their guests. The bride released white balloons at the reception in memory of her uncle, Lee Roberts.
Benji Perkins of Carrollton catered the reception with a spread of the bride and groom's favorite foods.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the home of the groom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Flautt. Guests were entertained by friends of the groom, Andy Hackleman and Stephen Pillow. A slide show of photos of the bride and groom ran throughout the evening.
On the morning of the wedding, the bride and her bridesmaids enjoyed a spa morning at The Alluvian.
The couple were honored with several parties and showers prior to their wedding day.
After a honeymoon to Rio Palace in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple are at home in Memphis.
