Dr. and Mrs. Frank Henry Flautt Jr. of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Steele Flautt, to Dylan Thomas Dale Mock of Frisco, Texas.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Miller of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dale Mock of Halls Head, Western Australia. He is the grandson of Barry Dale Mock of Edmond, Oklahoma, and the late Janice Lynn Mock and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ray Chynoweth.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Suzanne Smith McIntyre of Greenwood, Linda Robbins McIntyre of Montgomery, Alabama, and Innes Thornton McIntyre III of Greenville, Alabama, and Polly Meek Upshaw, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Henry Flautt, all of Greenwood.
Miss Flautt is a 2009 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2013 cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she received a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies. She graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing in 2015. She is employed as a neuro ICU nurse at Texas Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
Mr. Mock is a 2014 graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he received a degree in English. He is employed as a private tutor and is furthering his studies in education.
The couple will exchange vows during a small family ceremony at Paris-Yates Chapel on the campus of the University of Mississippi in Oxford at 5 p.m. on Dec. 17, 2016.
The Rev. Dr. Rusty Douglas of First Presbyterian Church of Greenwood will officiate.
A reception will follow at The Powerhouse in Oxford.
