Mike and Ann Rayburn of Carrollton have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Daphne Shae Ellis, to Joel Ellis Williams.
Mr. Williams is the son of G.E. and Angie Williams of Clinton.
He is the grandson of the late Grace B. and Herbert A. Dickson of Jackson and the late Gladstone and Nancy Williams of Clinton.
Miss Ellis is the granddaughter of Minnie Carpenter, John Miller and the late Ercelle Jones Ellis, all of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Cruger-Tchula Academy. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 1999 with bachelor's degree in management of information systems.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Clinton High School. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi.
They are both employed by Viking Range Corp.
The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. June 2, 2008, in a beach ceremony in Key West, Fla.
