Charlene “Tut” Elliott and Charles F. “Chuck” Elliott, both of Carrollton, announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amber Blair Elliott, to Colby Wade Mitchell.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lord of Carrollton and the late Frank “Buddy” Truitt, and Charles M. Elliott of Mesa, Arizona, and the late Peggy Ellis Teague of Coila.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Karen Sanders Mitchell of Carrollton and the late Billy Ray “Mitch” Mitchell Jr. He is the grandson of Harry Herbert Sanders and Kay Browning Sanders, both of Carrollton, and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Ray Mitchell Sr. of Greenwood.
The couple will exchange vows on May 24 in a private family ceremony with a reception following at 7 p.m. at the Black Hawk School House in Black Hawk.
All family and friends are invited to attend the celebration reception with the couple. No formal invitations will be sent.
