Paul W. and Ina Dillard of Pontotoc have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Casey Jane Dillard of Pontotoc, to Jon Kevin Pernell Jr. of Tupelo.
Mr. Pernell is the son of Jon K. Sr. and Cynthia Pernell of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Prentiss and Geneva Pernell of Philipp and the late DeWitt and Dorothy Hodnett of West Point.
Miss Dillard is the granddaughter of Virginia Dillard and the late Hayden Dillard and Donald and Mary Jo Royce, all of Pontotoc.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Pontotoc High School. She graduated from the Natural Healing Arts School of Massage Therapy in Tupelo in 2007.
She is employed as a licensed massage therapist at the Escape Salon in Tupelo.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Greenwood High School. He graduated from Delta State University in 2001.
He is employed as a staff accountant at Nail McKinney Professional Association in Tupelo.
The couple will exchange vows in a private ceremony at 3 p.m. Dec. 13, 2008, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Pontotoc.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend a reception following the ceremony at 4 p.m. at the church.
