Mr. and Mrs. Willie Dean Sr. of Itta Bena have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Angela Monique Dean, to Larry Harris II.
Mr. Harris is the son of Larry and Delores Harris of Clarksdale.
He is the grandson of the late Flora Mae Self and Deloise Johnson Fair.
Miss Dean is the granddaughter of Rosie Webb of Itta Bena and Lenora Vance of Detroit.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Leflore County High School. She attended Mississippi Delta Community College.
She is employed with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Coahoma Agricultural High School.
He is employed at Aaron's.
The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. May 24, 2008, at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Itta Bena.
The Rev. C.L. Felton will officiate.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at Abraham Court in Itta Bena.
A special invitation is extended to members of the Leflore County High School class of 2001.
