Mary Hart Davis Poole and John Herbert Poole of Vail, Ariz., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Alison Francis Davis of Dallas, to John Robert Callison, also of Dallas.
Miss Davis is the daughter of the late Timothy Wayne Davis.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dr. Randall Lee Callison of Mabank, Texas, and Kathleen King Callison of Plano, Texas.
He is the grandson of Tonie Hester Callison of Mabank, Texas, and the late Valda Arlene Callison and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shirley King.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Francis Craig of Greenwood and the late Coleman Creswell Craig and the late Mr. and Mrs. Noble Wayne Davis.
Miss Davis is a 2002 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2006 graduate of the University of Mississippi. She is a 2007 graduate of the Else School of Management at Millsaps College, where she received a Master of Business Administration, and she is a 2010 graduate of the Mississippi College School of Law.
Admitted to practice law in both Mississippi and Texas, Miss Davis is an associate attorney at Balekian Hayes, PLLC in Dallas.
Mr. Callison is a 2003 graduate of Mabank High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Texas. Mr. Callison is a 2010 graduate of the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. He is as an attorney at Buckley Madole, P.C. in Dallas.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. on May 24, 2014, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Dallas. A reception will follow at the Historic Belo Mansion.
