Dan and Carolyn Cunningham of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Megan Danielle Cunningham of Greenwood, to Matthew McMillian Parker of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Ronald and Martha Jean Parker of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Sue Parker of Greenwood and the late Rex Parker, the late Gene Gammill and the late Martha Poss.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Russell Simmons, the late Lillie Gross and the late Ester Cunningham.
Miss Cunningham is a 2006 graduate of Carroll Academy and a 2008 graduate of Mississippi Delta Community College, where she earned an associate’s degree.
She is employed at J.C. Penny’s until she begins school in the fall to pursue a degree in nursing.
Mr. Parker is a 2002 graduate of Carroll Academy.
He is a freelance videographer for Realtree Outdoors, Michael Waddell’s Bone Collector, and he will be working with Tom Miranda this fall. Mr. Parker also works part-time at Ace Hardware.
The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. June 12, 2010, at Christ Baptist Church.
The Rev. Jim Phillips will officiate at the ceremony.
Friends and family of the bride and groom are invited.
