Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Cox of Carrollton announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Shana Alyse Cox, to Cory Alan Blaylock of Kosciusko.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nat Blaylock of Kosciusko.
He is the grandson of Mildred Becks of Huntsville, Ala., and the late Robert Becks, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Vance Blaylock.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Cox of Greenwood and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Powell.
Miss Cox is a graduate of Carroll Academy. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in elementary education at the University of Mississippi.
Mr. Blaylock is a graduate of Kosciusko High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and master’s degree in educational leadership from Mississippi State University. He is the principal at Ackerman High School in Ackerman.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on March 10, 2012, at Calvery Baptist Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Mitchell Long will officiate at the ceremony.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend.
