Matthew Byron Chambliss and Kari Garnet Ondash were united in marriage on Sept. 5 in Dallas, Texas.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth L. Hines of Greenwood and Byron Scott Chambliss of Pike Road, Alabama. He is the grandson of the late L.J. “Joe” McBride and Mavis Rhea McBride and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Allen Chambliss.
Mr. Chambliss is a 2004 graduate of Pillow Academy. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2009 with a Master of Accountancy degree.
The bride is the daughter of Mark Joseph Ondash of Miami Beach, Florida, and Deanne Marie Schaumburg of Cotuit, Massachusetts. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen T. Ondash and the late David Martin Schaumburg and Gloria Schaumburg Horvath.
She graduated from New Canaan High School in 2005. She graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2010 with a Master of Science degree in accounting. Both are certified public accountants and work in finance in Dallas, Texas.
Following a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple is at home in Dallas.
