Mr. Darrin and Mrs.Tarsha Cation of Collierville, Tenn., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittney Cation of Memphis, to Tyree Nesbit III of Memphis.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tyree Nesbit Jr. of Memphis.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Womac Robinson and the late Mr. and Mrs Tyree Nesbit Sr.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Stevenson of Greenwood and Virginia Cation of Greenwood.
Miss Cation is a 2007 graduate of Germantown High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Memphis, where she received a Bachelor of Education degree in middle school mathematics. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. She is a sixth-grade math and science teacher at Woodstock Middle School in Millington, Tenn.
Mr. Nesbit is a 2002 graduate of Craigmont High School and is a 2007 graduate from the University of Tennessee, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering. He is an engineer for AT&T in Memphis.
The couple will exchange vows on April 28 at the Clark Opera Memphis Center.
