Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lynn Canterbury of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Cari Brooke Canterbury, to Spencer Thomas White, also of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Cecil White Jr. of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Shelley Huddleston Phillips and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cecil White.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Charles Woodrow Tribble of Grenada and the late Mr. Charles Woodrow Tribble, and the late Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Canterbury.
Miss Canterbury is a 2010 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2014 graduate of Mississippi University for Women, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in communicative disorders. In April, she completed her Master of Science degree in communicative disorders at Jackson State University. She is employed by Cumberland Therapy Services in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr. White is a 2009 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2013 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. He is currently a third-year dental student at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. on June 25 at North Greenwood Baptist Church in Greenwood.
