Sara and Lewis Buford Jr. of Greenwood celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 28, 2008.
The milestone event was shared with their children, family members and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Buford were married on March 28, 1948, in Lexington.
The couple has four children, Debbie Oxnam of Greenwood; Shelia B. Flippo and her husband, James, of Pope; and Bubba Buford and Scott Buford, both of Greenwood.
They also have five grandchildren, Brad Oxnam of Antioch,Tenn.; Elizabeth Flippo McArthur of Sardis; Brittany Flippo of Pope; Katie Buford of Oxford; and Lewis Buford V of Starkville.
