Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Buchanan of Philipp announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristen Karroll Buchanan, to Robert Clark Kennington of Grenada.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. Robert Kennington and Mrs. Suzanne Fancher, both of Grenada.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Fredda Kennington of Grenada and the late Robert Estes Kennington and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Samuel Eaton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Buchanan of Philipp and Mrs. Lena Davis of Tippo and the late Durrell Davis.
Miss Buchanan is a 2007 graduate of Strider Academy. She is attending college to obtain an associate’s degree in veterinary technology.
She is employed by Veterinary Associates in Grenada.
Mr. Kennington is a 2003 graduate of Grenada High School, and he attended Mississippi State University.
He is a professional dog trainer for Maximum Potential Retrievers.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. on July 21, 2012, at Holcomb Baptist Church.
