Frances Clair Brewer and Daniel Ray Jenkins, both of Greenwood, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Aug. 9, 2008, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood.
Father Thomas Delaney and the Rev. Gary Tanner officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Brewer of Greenwood.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Brewer of Hernando and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Harden of Greenwood.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Ray Jenkins of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Mrs. John Jenkins of Greenwood and the late Mr. Jenkins, Frances Willard of Nebraska and Jessie Ross of Greenwood.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin side-draped A-line dress with a lace-up back. The gown featured beaded champagne lace along the sweetheart neckline and hem and a chapel-length train. She also wore a two-tiered elbow-length veil featuring a beaded scalloped edge.
She carried a hand-tied bouquet of red gerber daisies accented with red roses and red calla lilies.
Matrons of honor were Jennifer Brewer Maranto of Greenville and Joanne Brewer Taylor of Brandon, both sisters of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Kelsey Blair Atkinson of Oxford, Ann Elizabeth McKay of Greenwood, Megan Elisabeth Shields of Ocean Springs, Rachel Elisabeth Cabell of Madison and Natalie Claire Hartley of Madison.
Margaret Anne Taylor of Brandon, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.
Beth Montgomery served as the bride's proxy.
Timothy Ray Jenkins of Greenwood, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Charles Wayne Watson of Greenwood; Patrick Eugene Montgomery of Carrollton; Donald Mathew Maranto of Greenville, brother-in-law of the bride; Charles Jonathan Taylor of Brandon, brother-in-law of the bride; Edward Farrell Spruill of Itta Bena; and Bradley Field Edwards of Greenwood.
Andrew Harden Taylor of Brandon, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Confederate Memorial Building.
On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Immanuel Baptist Church.
Following their honeymoon to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple is at home in Greenwood.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Pillow Academy and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Delta State University in 2008.
She is employed with Taylor, Powell, Wilson and Hartford P.A. Certified Public Accountants.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Carroll Academy and attended Mississippi Delta Community College.
He is employed with Ayers Delta Implement.
