Sonny Blake of Greenwood and Ann Blake of Madison announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Caroline Elizabeth Blake, to Matthew McKinley Gordon of Maben.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gordon of Maben. He is the grandson of Dorothy Williamson of Starkville and the late Shelby C. Williamson and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gordon of Maben.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Carol Ann Adams of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Sedric Adams Jr. of Greenwood and the late Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Blake.
Miss Blake is a 2012 graduate of Madison Central High School. She attends Mississippi State University, where she is a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She is majoring in elementary education and will graduate in May.
Mr. Gordon is a 2012 graduate of East Webster High School. He attends Mississippi State University, where he is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He is majoring in secondary education and will graduate in December.
The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m on May 28 at Fondren Church in Jackson with a reception to follow at The Old Capitol Inn.
