Rory and Ashley Baker of Richwood, Texas, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Catherine Baker, to Christopher Dylan Heard of Natchez.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Roger and Lisa Heard of Natchez. He is the grandson of Henry and Virginia Heard of Greenwood and the late Charles and Frances Hughes.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Thomas and Cathy Wafford of Katy, Texas, and Stan and Susie Tyler of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Glenn Patton of Clute, Texas.
Miss Baker is a graduate of Brazoswood High School and Houston Dental Assistant School in Houston, Texas. She is employed at Frontier Industrial Corporation.
Mr. Heard is a graduate of Cathedral High School and the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in construction engineering. He is employed at Frontier Industrial Corporation.
The couple will exchange vows Sept. 12 at Lake Jackson Civic Center in Lake Jackson, Texas. Judge Pat Sebesta will officiate.
A reception will follow at Lake Jackson Civic Center.
