Stan and Linda Acy of Starkville have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Carley Marie Acy of Starkville, to Coleman Edward Norman, also of Starkville.
Mr. Norman is the son of Eddie and Jane Norman of Mantee.
He is the grandson of Sara Sue Harrington of Mantee and the late Durell Harrington and Dixie Norman of Houston and the late Edward Norman.
Miss Acy is the granddaughter of Christine May of Stewart and the late Rex May and Loretta Acy of Black Hawk and the late Bobby A. Acy.
She is the great-granddaughter of Stella W. Acy of Black Hawk.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Starkville Academy. She received a degree in marketing from Mississippi State University, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority.
She is employed by Northstar Properties.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of East Webster High School. He attended Mississippi State University.
He is employed as a firefighter for the Starkville Fire Department.
The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. May 10, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Starkville.
The Rev. Tom Daniel will officiate.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited.
