Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Mason of Schlater announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Hooper Mason, to Steve Parker Harris of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Harris of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Buck Harris of Greenwood and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Serio.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James “Mookey” Vail of Schlater and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn C. Atkinson.
Miss Mason is a 2013 graduate of Pillow Academy. She is a 2016 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she received a Bachelor of Radiological Science degree. She received her Master of Nuclear Medicine Technology degree in 2017 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
She is employed as a nuclear medicine technologist at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
Mr. Harris is a 2012 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2016 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree.
He is employed as the parts manager at Cannon Motor Company in Cleveland.
The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m. on March 12 in a private ceremony with the Rev. Dr. Scott Wright officiating.
A reception will follow at 6:30 p.m. at The Historic Elks Building in downtown Greenwood. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited.
