The Adopt-A-Family program is sponsored by the Salvation Army and The Greenwood Commonwealth each year.
This Christmas, there are 196 families in need of assistance. Families are listed according to their family size. All are low income.
The fee to adopt a family is $65, which can be brought to the Salvation Army office at 413 U.S. 82 West, Monday through Friday, between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Each donation will help provide the family toys, clothing and food at Christmas.
