Randy Pierce, a novelist and the new director of the Mississippi Judicial College in Oxford, will sign copies of his latest thriller, “The Peter Bay,” at Turnrow Books.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Pierce is a lifelong resident of Greene County. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of Mississippi School of Law. He previously served in the state Legislature and on the Mississippi Supreme Court. He joined the Mississippi Judicial College last month.
“When I sat down to write my first novel six years ago, ‘The Peter Bay’ is the story I had intended on writing,” Pierce said. “However, the story went in a different direction. As a result, ‘Pain Unforgiven’ was written. Now, I’m thrilled to release ‘The Peter Bay’ along with a re-edited ‘Pain Unforgiven.’ I can’t wait for new and old readers to live through the characters I love so much.”
