Whether you’ve been a Greenwood-Leflore County Chamber of Commerce member for a year or 25 years, or even if you’re not a member yet but have been thinking about it, we've got something coming up that you won’t want to miss.
On Oct. 28, we’re having a “Chamber Membership 101” workshop for anyone who wants to know more about how to make the most of their chamber membership.
The workshop will begin at noon and take less than one hour, and we’ll even include a light complimentary lunch for you.
We’ll take you quickly through all the benefits and services, programs and events that the chamber offers, and we’ll help you find ways to customize your chamber membership to meet your specific needs. For example, did you know that the chamber can help you with your business marketing needs? We’ll talk about that, along with ways to become more visible in the community, how to save on your postage, office supplies, shipping, resources for your business and more. We’ll offer you ways to develop your leadership skills and talk about ways that you can become more involved on a volunteer basis through education, community events and more.
We want our members to be sure that they are maximizing their membership by taking advantage of all the services and programs that are available. Many times, our members don’t know how to do that, or they simply don’t know all that we have to offer. We hope to change that with this quick workshop.
There are so many great things that our chamber does for its members as well as for the entire community, and we just want to take this opportunity to say “thank you” and to remind you of all that we do here for you — our members and prospective members.
We hope you’ll make plans to learn more about your current (or future) chamber membership, but we do require an RSVP so that we can plan accordingly.
You must call us at 453-4152 or email us at info@greenwoodms.com no later than Oct. 24 to reserve your spot.
We encourage you register ahead of time, and we’ll send you a reminder of the workshop, along with a quick survey that you can complete and bring with you to the seminar. This will help us to better meet your needs.
Don’t forget the “Chamber Membership 101 Workshop” is Oct. 28 from noon to 1 p.m. at the chamber. Lunch is free, but an RSVP is required. Let us know today.
