Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cornish of Greenwood announce the birth of their daughter, Savannah Lea Cornish, who was born Oct. 23, 2008, at Grenada Lake Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 11.6 ounces, and was 19 inches long.
Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Humphrey Sr. of Greenwood.
Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Brower and the late Lee Cornish, all of Greenwood.
Her maternal great-grandparent is Jessie Perkins of Columbus, formerly of Greenwood.
Also welcoming Savannah home is her sister, Kayla, 3.
Mrs. Cornish is the former Tasha Perkins of Greenwood.
