Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Carter of Horseshoe announce the birth of their daughter, Saralin Margaret Carter, who was born July 3, 2008, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

Her maternal grandparents are Danny and Linda Johnson of Horseshoe.

Her paternal grandparents are Gerald and Sara Ann Carter of Greenwood.

Her maternal great-grandparents are the late Morris and Margaret Johnson and the late Chris Newman, all of Horseshoe.

Also welcoming Maggie home is her sister, Bella Rose Carter, 2.

Mrs. Carter is the former Emily Johnson of Horseshoe.
