Jason and Angela Burkes of Olive Branch announce the birth of their daughter, McKenzie Grace Burkes, who was born on Aug. 10, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

Her maternal grandparent is Gracie Harris of Black Hawk.

Her maternal great-grandparent is Eula Killingsworth of Harvey, Ill.

Her paternal grandparents are Junior and Ossie Burkes of Starkville.

Her paternal great-grandparent is Hattie Hughes of Forest.

Also welcoming Mckenzie home is her sister, Taylor Nicole Burkes, 3.

Mrs. Burkes is the former Angela Harris of Black Hawk.
