Hayes and Julia Harris of Shellmound announce the birth of their son, Malcom Hayes Harris, on Dec. 4, 2017, at Merit Woman’s Hospital in Jackson. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20½ inches long.
His maternal grandparents are Ernest and Jamie Bledsoe of Shellmound.
His maternal great-grandparents are Ed Bledsoe Sr. of Shellmound and the late Sybil Herr Bledsoe and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Shackelford.
His paternal grandparents are Wayne and Donna Harris of Hernando.
His paternal great-grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Malcom Davis Baxter Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Iverson Harris Sr.
Mrs. Harris is the former Julia Bledsoe of Shellmound.
Also welcoming their brother are Sybil Harris, 4, and Emma Harris, 2.
