Mr. and Mrs. Gary Dyksterhouse of Greenwood announce the birth of their son, Langdon James Dyksterhouse, who was born Oct. 12, 2010, at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 191/2 inches long.
His maternal parents are Walker and Lanie Sturdivant of Greenwood.
His paternal grandparents are Don and Mary Dyksterhouse of Apex, N.C.
His maternal great-grandparents are Mike and Ygondine Sturdivant of Glendora and the late Bill and Joyce Langdon, formerly of Oxford.
His paternal great-grandparents are Jay and Marie Timmer of Jenison, Mich. and the late Harold and Nella Dyksterhouse, formerly of Grand Rapids, Mich.
Also welcoming Langdon home is his big sister, Mary Laine, 1.
Mrs. Dyksterhouse is the former Kathryn Sturdivant of Greenwood.
