Jeffrey Daves and Vicki Daves of Carrollton announce the birth of their son, Landon Kent Daves, on Aug. 7, 2012, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 19 inches long.
His maternal grandparents are the late Billy Smith and Debbie Kent Smith and step-grandmother Lori Smith, all of Greenwood.
His maternal great-grandparents are Helen Faye Smith of Greenwood and the late G.A. Smith and the late Wilburn and Allene Kent.
His paternal grandparents are Oren Dell of Carrollton and the late Cathy Daves.
His paternal great-grandparents are the late Archie and Ellie Germany and the late Earl and Florence Daves.
Also welcoming baby is his big brother, A.J. Daves, age 8; and his big sister, Sara Beth Daves, age 5.
