His maternal grandparents are Patsy Mitchell of Minter City and Gene and Joycelyn Mitchell.
His maternal great-grandparents are Maxine Malier of Minter City and the late W.L. Malier, and Louise Mitchell of Ruleville and the late Junior Mitchell.
His paternal grandparents are Jackie Sr. and Terri Sims of Phillipston and Clyde and Elizabeth Rice of Greenwood.
His paternal great-grandparents are Charlotte Huggins of Greenwood and the late J.C. Huggins, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee Edmond Sims.
Mrs. Sims is the former Angela Mitchell of Minter City.
