Mr. and Mrs. William Pierce Brown IV of Schlater have announced the birth of their son, Hayes Chassaniol Brown, who was born Sept. 21, 2007, at Woman's Hospital in Jackson. He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 20 inches long.
His maternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Frank Stainback III of Greenwood.
His paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William P. Brown III of Schlater.
His maternal great-grandparents are Col. and Mrs. Frank Stainback Jr. of Pensacola, Fla.
His paternal great-grandmother is Mrs. William P. Brown Jr. of Schlater.
Also welcoming Hayes home is his brother, William.
Mrs. Brown is the former Meredith Stainback.
