His maternal great-grandparents are Anne Smith of Carrollton and the late Marvin Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Moore Bowen Jr.
His paternal grandparents are Sherrill Smith of Greenwood and the late George Houston Smith Jr.
His paternal great-grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. George Houston Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Howard Lewis.
Also welcoming home George Houston is his big sister Libby, 2.
