Chris Compton and Amy Wever of North Carrollton announce the birth of their son, Christopher “CJ” Danial Compton, who was born on Aug. 28, 2009, at Grenada Lake Medical Center. He weighed 4 pounds, 41/2 ounces, and was 181/2 inches long.
His maternal grandparents are Jimmy and Suzanne Wever of Yazoo City.
His maternal great-grandparents are Kay Wever and the late J.W. “Bud” Wever and John “Hot” and Jene Johnson.
His paternal grandparents are Ned and Marie Compton Clark of North Carrollton and Richard “Buddy” Ayers of Pearl.
His paternal great-grandparents are Shirley Compton of Winona and the late Howard Wesley Compton, Duane and Alice Ayers of Holcomb, Nan Clark Hodges of Winona and the late Ned B. Clark.
His paternal great-great-grandparents are John W. Orr of Winona and the late Annie Marie Orr.
