Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Smith of Foley, Ala., have announced the birth of their son, Brayden Alexander Smith, who was born Sept. 11, 2007, at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley. He weighed 8 pounds, 11 1/2 ounces, and was 20 3/4 inches long.
His maternal grandparents are Hope and Craig Sawyer of Fairhope, Ala., and Bobby Norwood of Greenwood.
His paternal grandparents are Kathleen and David Smith of Fairhope.
His maternal great-grandparents are Lana and Sam Makamson of Greenwood and Donna and Mike McCaleb of Chicago.
His paternal great-grandparents are John and Peggy Nystrom and Nina Vee Smith, all of Fairhope.
His great-great-grandparents are Wanda Quarles of Bruce and Edith and Peck Lindsay of Greenwood.
Mrs. Smith is the former Ashley Norwood of Greenwood.
