Rhyne and Beth Hooks of Brandon announce the birth of their daughter, Ann Phelps Hooks, who was born Feb. 10, 2009, at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. She weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 20 inches long.
Her maternal grandparents are Mike and Debbie Braswell of Lexington.
Her paternal grandparents are Gail and Tony Martin of Carrollton.
Her maternal great-grandparents are Margie and Bernard Jones of Yazoo City and Dorothy and Jimmie Braswell of Greenwood.
Her paternal great-grandparents are Yvonne Moorman and Dot and Billy Martin, all of Carrollton.
Her paternal great-great-grandmother is Lucille Hooks of Greenwood.
Also welcoming Ann Phelps home are her brothers, Will, 3, and Ben, 17 months.
