Joshua and Erin Jacobs announce the birth of their daughter, Abigail Alexandria Jacobs, who was born on Sept. 29, 2009, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 211/2 inches long.
Her maternal grandparents are Dr. Dottie Pernell of Tippo and Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Pernell of Manchester, Tenn.
Her maternal great-grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Murphree and Mr. and Mrs. Prentiss Pernell of Philipp.
Her maternal great-great-grandmother is Clytee Pernell of Philipp.
Her paternal grandparents are Jim Jacobs of Seattle, Wash., and Donna Jacobs of Walnut.
Her paternal great-grandparents are Charles Jacobs of Seattle, Wash., Patricia Vargus of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Shupe of Oakland, Tenn.
Also welcoming Abigail home is her sister, Maggie, 3.
Mrs. Jacobs is the former Erin Pernell of Tippo.
